Generic workout apps generate the same push-up and squat list whether you are in a city park or on a mountain ridge. This quiz takes a different approach. Every exercise recommendation references the physical features of your chosen landscape — park benches, tree trunks, sand dunes, tidal zones, boulder fields, and forest floor textures. The result is a session plan you can execute immediately at your location without equipment purchases or gym memberships.
The quiz considers three variables that research identifies as the primary determinants of outdoor session quality: environment type (which dictates surface, props, and safety considerations), training goal (which shapes intensity and exercise selection), and available duration (which controls volume and rest allocation). Your answers map to one of 36 unique plan combinations, each containing four to six specific exercises with time allocations.
No personal data is collected or stored. Results appear on screen and can be screenshot for reference. Re-take the quiz whenever your location, goals, or schedule changes.

Each exercise in your plan uses a feature of your chosen environment. Forest plans reference tree trunks and root systems. Beach plans incorporate sand texture and tidal zones. Mountain plans account for elevation and rocky surfaces. Urban park plans utilise benches, paths, and open grass.
Relaxation plans prioritise slow movement, breathing, and sensory engagement. Endurance plans include interval structures and progressive pacing. Flexibility plans focus on dynamic and static stretching sequences adapted to available surfaces and support structures.
Shorter plans concentrate on high-value movements with minimal transition time. Longer plans include warm-up walking, main exercise blocks, skill practice, and structured cool-down. Time estimates include transitions between exercises at a normal walking pace within your location.

Some exercises translate to indoor alternatives — bodyweight movements and stretching work anywhere. However, landscape-specific elements like sand walking or tree-assisted stretches require outdoor settings. Choose an urban park plan for the most adaptable indoor-outdoor exercise selection.
Select the closest match. Riverbank paths align with urban park plans. Bush reserves align with forest. Coastal cliffs align with mountain terrain. The exercise principles transfer even when your exact landscape differs slightly from the category name.
